Toi Tokawhero – Funky Resin Taonga

Tokawhero – Inspired by traditional forms of adornment. Each piece is hand sculptured and cast in resin by Ngapuhi artist Claire Wihongi. After completing a Media Arts Degree majoring in Sculpture, Claire began a career in the dental industry. Combining both disciplines and her natural talent, Claire has created unique Taonga representing impressions of Aotearoa.
